This month we are excited to welcome Anita Madden as our November guest. Anita was on the Your Next Stamp design team a couple years ago and we are looking forward to seeing her cute and creative cards all month long.
Scroll on down to learn a little more about Anita and check out her first card for the month.
Hi! My name is Anita and I’ve been a card maker for about 8 years. I’m a big fan of YNS and I’m so excited to be guest designing for them. My favorite coloring medium is copics – I love them! I also enjoy playing around with colored pencils and watercolors. I teach copic and colored pencil classes at my LSS and have a fun group of ladies that join my classes. Thanks to Karen, Julie, and the YNS gang for letting me hang out with them!
November is going to full of fun! The November release is HUGE and it is full of stamps and dies for the holidays and more! We have a couple of familiar faces joining us for the new release, plus we have a special guest sharing a few projects this month. The inspiration is going to keep coming all month long.

Our October guest, Maria Rudolph, has taken over the blog today to share some of her faves with you.
Today I’m very excited to share some of my favorites with you. To just pick one was quite hard and so I included a few of them on this card. I’m a very big fan of sushi as it’s so yummy and fresh and just delicious. I also adore rainbows in any form and shape. I mixed both of them in this card that I water colored, as this is my favorite kind of coloring ….hehehe sneaked in another fave. I love rainbows for their brightness and happiness and I love to share both with recipients all over the world. What is your favorite food and color combination???
Hello my name is Maria and I´m from Germany! I´m so excited for this new adventure of being a guest designer for YNS as I fell in love with their stamps when I visited crafty friends in Canada 3 years ago. I have been crafting since I was a little girl and got into the real cardmaking world around 12 years ago. I´m a kindergarten teacher and love to get creative at work with the children and at home with friends. I own a big selection of punches hanging on my wall, that I use to make cute little punch art critters and labels for my cards. Most of my cards are very colorful and I love to add a rainbow here or there as rainbows represent a piece of happiness to me.
I´m very grateful for this amazing opportunity to share some of my cards and projects with you!!
How do we find our guests? We look through challenge entries and we also search the internet looking for amazing creations that are tagged #yournextstamp. Keep on stamping and sharing and playing along!

We are back with guest Candice Fisher today and she is sharing her faves!
When asked what her paper crafting faves are, Candice responded:
One of my favorite things is to create with stamp sets that have cute coordinating sentiments that go with the stamps! I see myself tending to go to those when I am deciding what to create with. This new Silly Trash Monster stamp set has sooo many different sentiments that I had to create more than one card with it!

We are starting a new feature on the YNS blog!
We will be asking our guests to share their faves!
This is a great opportunity to learn more about each designer’s crafting style. It could be a favorite stamp set, technique, color combination, etc. We are leaving it open ended and can’t wait to see what everyone showcases as their fave.
Guest Tina Henkens is the first one to kick it off!
We asked Tina to share one of her faves and she came back with a list:
“I really love cute critters and mixing stamp sets to create new scenes.
Copics and distress inks are my favorite colouring tools.”
Tina’s card combines all her faves and what a scene it creates!
Hi! I am so excited to be here as a guest designer to create with the awesome products at YNS! I have a wonderful husband and three great kids who went and grew up on me, 20, 17, and 15. I have been an at home mom for years and started scrapbooking with other moms 17 years ago. I worked at Archiver’s as an instructor until they sadly closed. Now I have started selling my cards at my local co-op grocery store and am enjoying crafting daily. We live in Minne”snow”ta and I get to spend most of my time crafting by my fireplace. I am one lucky girl! I love to use stitched dies, oxide inks and colored images on my cards. I am so thankful for the opportunity to share my creations with you this month! Thank you YNS!
Hi! My name is Tina and I’m a cardmaker from Belgium. A few years ago I watched a cardmaking video on Youtube and I was hooked immediately. Luckely I have a very supportive husband and daughter. During the week my job takes up must of my time so I usely craft during the weekend. I’m a big fan of whimsical stamps, especially cute critters. It’s always fun to combine several sets and create new scenes. My other hobbies are reading, going to Pilates class, taking our dog Mira for a long walk and traveling.
Thank you so much for inviting me this month!
September is going to be a fun month! We are changing things up a bit by moving our release to fall on a Thursday. That means September 13th new stamps and dies arrive in the YNS Store!
We are also combining our bi-weekly challenge and DT Dare and Feature days. Stay tuned for all the details.
Hello!!! My name is Katie Brooks and I am THRILLED to be here guesting for YNS!!! A little about me… I have a loving husband and a darling 10 year old daughter. I work an HR job and manage my MS. Crafting is my escape from the real world. I have had a love for arts/crafts all of my life, something passed to me by my parents. It is fun to find and share inspiration and crafty friends, especially with stamps as fun as these!
I love Your Next Stamp stamps, so I am delighted to be here as a guest for the month of August. I live in Southwestern Ontario and have been a card maker for over 13 years. I love this industry and the wonderful people one meets, and I think I can say I am addicted. I very much enjoy colouring images, my favourite medium being watercolour. I started taking watercolour classes in 2016, and continue with the weekly classes. Thank you Your Next Stamp for having me for the month of August. YNS Supplies: Life’s a Hoot
Kia and Katie will both be back for our August new release celebration starting on August 11th. Get ready for the birthday party! No need to bring a gift, we will be the ones giving out gifts!
