I love making Christmas tags so that’s the project I’m sharing today.
I used the Cool Tag Three Die Set and cut three tags from white card stock. I also cut a piece of pattern paper and acetate for each tag.
I adhered the pattern paper to the tag and then stamped tiny sentiments using the Holiday Mice stamp set. I used liquid adhesive to adhere the acetate to the back side of the front tag pieces.
I added foam tape around the outer edge of the tag, added the sequins, and then adhered the front and back pieces of the tag together. I used the bunnies from the Frosty Friends stamp set, colored them with Copics, and die cut them using the Frosty Friends Die Set.
A black glaze pen was used for the bunny eyes and I added polka-dots to their hats using my white gel pen. I adhered the bunnies to the tags and then finished the tags with some ribbon, twine, and a bell.

Our November guest Anita Madden takes over the YNS Blog today and shares some of her faves!
I’m sharing a couple of favorites with you today. My favorite technique lately is ink blending. I love the beautiful backgrounds I can create by using distress inks and distress oxide inks. I sponged Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet distress oxide inks for this background and then flicked some water from a small paint brush to create the lighter spots. Another favorite of mine is Christmas cards! They’re one of my favorite kinds of cards to create so I couldn’t resist using the adorable Home For The Holidays set to make today’s card.

This month we are excited to welcome Anita Madden as our November guest. Anita was on the Your Next Stamp design team a couple years ago and we are looking forward to seeing her cute and creative cards all month long.
Scroll on down to learn a little more about Anita and check out her first card for the month.
Hi! My name is Anita and I’ve been a card maker for about 8 years. I’m a big fan of YNS and I’m so excited to be guest designing for them. My favorite coloring medium is copics – I love them! I also enjoy playing around with colored pencils and watercolors. I teach copic and colored pencil classes at my LSS and have a fun group of ladies that join my classes. Thanks to Karen, Julie, and the YNS gang for letting me hang out with them!
November is going to full of fun! The November release is HUGE and it is full of stamps and dies for the holidays and more! We have a couple of familiar faces joining us for the new release, plus we have a special guest sharing a few projects this month. The inspiration is going to keep coming all month long.

Our October guest, Maria Rudolph, has taken over the blog today to share some of her faves with you.
Today I’m very excited to share some of my favorites with you. To just pick one was quite hard and so I included a few of them on this card. I’m a very big fan of sushi as it’s so yummy and fresh and just delicious. I also adore rainbows in any form and shape. I mixed both of them in this card that I water colored, as this is my favorite kind of coloring ….hehehe sneaked in another fave. I love rainbows for their brightness and happiness and I love to share both with recipients all over the world. What is your favorite food and color combination???
Hello my name is Maria and I´m from Germany! I´m so excited for this new adventure of being a guest designer for YNS as I fell in love with their stamps when I visited crafty friends in Canada 3 years ago. I have been crafting since I was a little girl and got into the real cardmaking world around 12 years ago. I´m a kindergarten teacher and love to get creative at work with the children and at home with friends. I own a big selection of punches hanging on my wall, that I use to make cute little punch art critters and labels for my cards. Most of my cards are very colorful and I love to add a rainbow here or there as rainbows represent a piece of happiness to me.
I´m very grateful for this amazing opportunity to share some of my cards and projects with you!!
How do we find our guests? We look through challenge entries and we also search the internet looking for amazing creations that are tagged #yournextstamp. Keep on stamping and sharing and playing along!

We are back with guest Candice Fisher today and she is sharing her faves!
When asked what her paper crafting faves are, Candice responded:
One of my favorite things is to create with stamp sets that have cute coordinating sentiments that go with the stamps! I see myself tending to go to those when I am deciding what to create with. This new Silly Trash Monster stamp set has sooo many different sentiments that I had to create more than one card with it!

We are starting a new feature on the YNS blog!
We will be asking our guests to share their faves!
This is a great opportunity to learn more about each designer’s crafting style. It could be a favorite stamp set, technique, color combination, etc. We are leaving it open ended and can’t wait to see what everyone showcases as their fave.
Guest Tina Henkens is the first one to kick it off!
We asked Tina to share one of her faves and she came back with a list:
“I really love cute critters and mixing stamp sets to create new scenes.
Copics and distress inks are my favorite colouring tools.”
Tina’s card combines all her faves and what a scene it creates!
