Happy Sunday everyone.. I hope you are enjoying our 12 Days of Winter Designer Showcase. Today I have a fun Gift Card Holder tutorial for you. This are perfect for this time of year or you can change up the images and use them throughout the year.
I started out by die cutting a banner from the Winter Plaids paper pack using the Fishtail/Banner Die One set. Once the banner was die cut I placed it over a White Polka Dot Little Bitty Bag and folded the top over to adjust the size I wanted.
Then I stamped the images from the Thanks a Latte set onto some White and Kraft card stock using some Black Olive Ink. I colored the images in with my Copic markers and then I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.
I also cut out a Cup Coozie from the coordinating dies using the Winter Knits paper pad.
I die cut the banner form the Cool Tags Three Die set and using my Mini Misti tool I stamped the sentiment onto the banner.
I die cut the Large Stitched Fishtail Banner die from some White card stock and tied it around a Gift Card for a coffee shop using some Red Devine Twine and a mini Glue dot. This is where you can stamp a sentiment or hand write your greeting.
I put the Gift card and tag into the Bitty Bag and folded the flap into the bag creating a smooth edge. Then I added the Banner of Pattern Paper over the edge taping on the back and the front. Then I adhered the Sentiment Banner and Coffee Cup image with some foam tape. I wanted to bring in a little more of the Green in the paper so I added some Pine Green gumdrops.
On the second one I just changed up the colors using the same pattern papers and images. I wanted to have some snowflakes so I die cut the three in the Holiday Snow Globe set from some White card stock and added some Clear Wink of Stella to them. I also added in a few Holly Jolly Sparkly Gumdrops with the Snowflakes.
Thanks for popping in today.. We’ll see you back here tomorrow for Day 10. Don’t forget to leave a comment before you leave for a chance to Win a Gift Certificate to the Store! We’ll pick all the winners from the Series on 12/27.
