Sketch and Color Challenge #30 – More Inspiration

Happy Friday!

This weekend Your Next Stamp will be keeping you busy with our January new release!   The full sneak peeks are on Saturday, followed by a blog hop on Sunday (with a prize of course!).

We wouldn’t want to make you wait though, so check out this sneaky peek…Debpeek012016hmmm I think I spy a hen!

If you want the chance to win some YNS bucks to go shopping for new release goodies now is the time to play along with Your Next Stamp’s bi-weekly challenge.

Challenge #30   is going on right now with a sketch and color combo for you to choose from.  Pick the one that inspires you, unless you really want to challenge yourself and combine the two!  Plus, the best part is you might win a gift certificate to the YNS store by playing along.

Challenge #30 is open through Thursday, January 21st at midnight EST.  One random participant will win a $15.00 gift certificate to the YNS Store, plus if the winner uses YNS products on their creation they will receive an additional $5.00 on their gift certificate.  We also select our favorite creation featuring YNS products from all participants and announce a “Top Pick”.   The random winner and “Top Pick” will be announced on the YNS blog the Sunday following the challenge close.   Link up a picture of your creation from your blog, gallery, etc. at the bottom of this post and you will be entered to win.

Are you ready to see which one will inspire you?

The sketch?YNSSketch30

If you use the sketch feel free to swap out shapes or rotate; so long as we can see the basic sketch was your inspiration.

The colors?YNScolor-30

If you choose the color combo, be sure to use at least 3 colors and feel free to add in neutrals

We look forward to stopping by to see which one you decide to go with.

Let’s check out the design teams inspiring creations!
Be sure to join in the fun and share your own creation inspired by either the sketch or the colors OR both!  Link up your project through Inlinkz below.

looking at some of the other cards in this challenge doesn’t seem fair to summit considering it is a random pick for the winner. seems like it’s cheating. awesome job for the people that followed the rules.

Hi Chantal, Thank you for your comment. We hope that you play along and share your take on the challenge(s). We are still going through the entries and will be removing any that do not meet the challenge rules. You bring up a good point about multiple entries. We will discuss and add an entry limit for challenge #31. Thank you for the idea.

So can I submit anything? I’m a bit confused…. I read the rules and understand the “theme” but after looking at all the pics of what people have submitted there is a handful that actually adhered to the rules and theme. Also is there a limit of how many i can submit? I see one person who has like 15 they submitted for this contest. I’m not complaining I just think that rules should be followed for this contest to be fair please let me know if I put this in the right section.

Hi Bill! The YNS challenge gives the option to choose between a sketch or a color combo. Only one challenge needs to be met to qualify. We are still going through the entries and will be removing any that do not meet the challenge rules. We are glad that you left the comment about multiple entries. As of right now, there is no limit – we didn’t want to limit creativity. A limit is a great idea and we will discuss it further for Challenge #31. Thanks for leaving a comment and sharing your ideas with us!
