Today I’m excited to say that Your Next Stamp is the proud sponsor for Bonnie’s Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge! YAY! Bonnie is so awesome and wonderful to work with! Have you seen all the amazing ribbon and twine she carries?? You’ll spend hours drooling over her huge selection.
Here are the challenge details…
* This weeks theme is Halloween
* Create a new project using the posted theme. A card, layout, ATC, home decor item, hairbow, anything goes!
* All projects must also include some sort of ribbon/lace/trim.
I’ve been so busy getting ready for ScrapFest (look for my special announcement at 9 am EST today) that I didn’t get a chance to make a card so the lovely Maureen was kind enough to share her stunning creation with you today…

— It’s time for YNS Challenge #27 – YAY! The sweet and talented Beth is our hostess this week and her challenge to us is Nicely Negative so you need to stamp with white ink on a black/dark cardstock somewhere on your card. Be sure to pop over to the challenge blog and review all the great ideas Beth has for you for her Nicely Negative challenge.
I’ve stamped a few different Halloween accessory images from various YNS sets with Brilliance platinum ink onto black cardstock and then distressed the edges just slightly and finished my card off with some fun Halloween ribbon and a creepy spider button. This card was so easy to make and I love how it turned out.
Thanks Beth for the great challenge! Hop on over to the YNS Challenge blog to check out all the details! We hope you play along for your chance to win some YNS bucks to spend on stamps at the YNS store!
Also my Holiday Hop sale is coming to an end and this is the last day to get 15% off your order! Visit the YNS Store today and grab a bargain – online code is YNSOCT15

— I think it’s so COOL that there’s a day dedicated to Card Making!!! I’ve been so busy with getting the new winter releases ready for our Oct 7th blog hop – YIPPEE along with preparing for ScrapFest Oshawa – another YIPPEE that I don’t actually have a card for you today but I do have a really simple gift bag that I made for my Mom. We are actually celebrating an early Thanksgiving this weekend and I thought my Mom would like a little gift bag filled with some yummy goodies. I just loved the card Maureen made with this Yummy Pie stamp set so I decided to use her layout and make it into a bag.
I hope you have a happy stamping world card making wonderful day!

It’s Friday! YAY! It’s also October already! Where did September go? It seemed to just fly by!
I’d like to give a warm welcome to our super amazing and talented guest designer – Tori Wild! I instantly fell in love with Tori’s creative style and couldn’t wait to see what she would create with YNS stamps! Thank so you much for joining us this month Tori!
Here is a wonderful her bio in her own words…
I’m a “work-from-home” mom who left the rush of the corporate world a year ago to start an in-home daycare. I love being home every day for my kids and as an added bonus, it gives me so much more stamping time! I look forward to my afternoon “recess” each day during nap-time. My “Wild” kids are Parker – 7, Kaiden – 5, and Gabrielle – 3 and I can’t forget my amazing husband, Jeremy — we just celebrated our 15 year wedding anniversary and are coming up on 20 years as a couple. He puts up with my chaos and supports me in everything! I love to stay busy and challenge my mind, so working with some of the most amazing stamp companies in the industry has been a huge honor and has led to so many amazing friendships. I’m excited to play along with the YNS team this month!
I can totally relate with her and wish my son would nap so I could have ‘recess’ too!
