Please Welcome Our YNS October ‘TWINS’…

When I asked these 2 fabulous ladies to join in all the YNS fun they thought it would be a good idea to be ‘twin’ guest designers for the month of October! Jen and Susan are great friends and I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know them both over the past few years and they are both super talented and lots of fun!!!

Please help me welcome these fabulous stamping friends to the YNS family…

Whoop! Whoop! Welcome ladies!!!
Here are a few words from both Jen and Susan along with a few of their amazing YNS creations!
Jen del Muro
Hi! It’s me…Jen del Muro. I am a fan of all things paper crafting and stamping. I started stamping several years ago just as a little hobby. I’m pretty sure you already know how that story turns out, as we have all become masters of procurement in this industry!

I live in North Texas with my husband, daughter and son. We share our home with a couple of loony dogs and a fat black cat. When I am not running around like crazy with any or all of them, I like to find a little peace and quiet in my stamp room. I have been {seriously} stamping and paper crafting for more than 5 years. I design/have designed for several companies and I enjoy getting my work published when I have the time. I love to share my work on my blog,

www.iheart2stamp.com. I also teach Copic and card for my local scrapbook store, Scrapper’s Boutique.

Karen knows that I absolutely **ADORE** all things YNS and I am thrilled to be a guest designer this month!  Thank you!

Susan Liles
Hi y’all, it’s me, Susan! I’m married to my best friend, Eric and we have three beautiful daughters—Shelbie who is 19 and works for Baylor hospital (she’s left the nest), Lindsie our fifth grader and Audrie our second grader. My mom recently moved in with us after having a stroke and I’m loving the large family atmosphere that a third generation brings to our home.  We are all native Texans and we live northeast of Fort Worth in a little suburb called Watauga. I’ve been a stay at home mom for 8 years now, after having been in the retail banking business for 17 years. We have a sweet Puggle (Pug/Beagle) that we rescued a year ago named Sage.  (also known as Sagers, Sagerella, and Aunt Sage-emima)
I grew up loving to draw, sew and do crafts of any sort.  After Shelbie was born (many moons ago), I decided I wanted to start a scrapbook for her.  Fourteen or so scrapbooks later…yes, just like ya’ll, it became an obsession.  However, along the way I was introduced to stamping, cardmaking and other papercrafts, so true scrapbooking took a backseat although I still love doing it.  I’ve been stamping on a regular basis for about 9 years now and somehow managed to become a part of several design teams here and there and even had a stint on the Dirty Dozen on Splitcoaststampers.com.  Currently, I design for The Cat’s Pajamas and Verve.  I also work on Saturdays, design layouts and card kits, and teach classes at my favorite local scrapbook store, Scrapper’s Boutique.  If ya’ll are local, come visit me there or if not, I’ll see you on my blog, www.susiestampalot.com!
I’m thrilled that Karen has asked me to join Your Next Stamp this month for a little fun.  I fell in love with the YNS brand when Fhiona jumped into my heart!  I hope ya’ll enjoy what I create for you!
I know you will love all their wonderful YNS projects so be sure to visit their blogs and show them lots of YNS kindness!!!

Enjoy your day!

August Guest Designer

First of all a special thanks to Jenny for sharing her fabulous YNS creations with us in July! I have a feeling that you’ll be seeing a lot more of her come September *wink*

I’d like to welcome the talented and sweet Julie Elak to the YNS family! I discovered Julie over at the YNS Challenge Blog, she submitted an adorable Kite Flying Fhiona creation and I couldn’t resist asking her to join us this month as our fabulous August Guest Designer.

Here is a super adorable card she made featuring Rainy Day Fhiona and a tid bit of info in her own words…

Hi, I am Julie Elak, aka “The Last Minute Crafter”. My days are kept busy working full time and running after my three children. Once the kids are in bed I start stamping away. I have been crafting since I was young and never stopped. Over the years I have tried many other crafts including, quilting, cross stitch and even knitting (which I am not too fond of). I love that with paper crafting I can usually start and finish a project within hours versus days or years! I started stamping well over 10 years ago, but my love for paper crafting found renewed energy once I discovered the online community in 2009.

I am so excited to be a guest designer for Your next Stamp this month. The cuteness factor to all the Your Next Stamp images just draws me right in. All the images are so fun to color or paper piece and just make me smile!

Julie, we look forward to seeing more wonderful and sweet YNS creations this month! Thanks for joining us!

I’ve got lots of fun announcements for you in August so stay tuned for more information regarding our special birthday hop – YNS is turning 2 and we need your help to celebrate! Plus look for a special monthly prize blog post announcement soon! Once I have the blinkie ready I’ll let you know all about it!!! YAY!

July Guest Designer

Happy Friday!

It’s the 1st of the month so you know what that means…

I get to introduce you to our fabulous July guest designer – YAY!

This month I am pleased to announce that the fabulous Jenny Peterson is joining us – so glad to you have you join the YNS family Jenny!

Jenny is a Canadian gal and her creative and fun stamping style will surely make you smile! I noticed this card she made using Snorkel Fun Penguin and just knew I had to ask her to join us here at YNS.

Here is a little but of info about Jenny in her own words…

Hi there! My name is Jenny Peterson and I am hopelessly addicted to stamping! I have been scrapbooking since I had my first child, seven years ago. I don’t do it a whole lot though, as I find it quite time consuming and I never know when to quit! I started stamping about 3 years ago and I like that I can have quick results with a card. I have three little boys, ages 2, 5 and 7. I am married to my high school sweetheart and he hates all things stampy (he has a jealousy complex I think;). I am a Registered Nurse and teach nursing part time at a nearby college. I live with my family in the country in central Alberta, Canada. I love being creative and am a just kid in art class at heart:) I have had the privilege to design and guest design for some great companies and I am super excited to be this months guest DT for Your Next Stamp!

Check out this adorable card she made using the fabulous Fhiona Galloway image Fetch

Be sure to stop by her blog and give her a warm welcome to YNS!

June Guest Designer

Hello Friends!

It’s June and we are finally getting some nice sunshine and HOT weather! YAY! Hopefully the sun is shining for you as well.

I’m excited to introduce you to our fabulous and talented June YNS Guest Designer…Jen Roach! Welcome to YNS Jen! I was so excited when I stumbled upon Jen’s blog, she had entered a card into one of our YNS challenges and I instantly fell in love with her fun creating style.
Here’s a tid bit of info about Jen in her own words…
Hi everyone! My name is Jennifer and I live in Ontario, Canada with my husband and 19 month old daughter. I’m a scientist by day and a paper crafter by night —or really just about any free time I have including my lunch breaks at work!!

I started out in paper crafting back in about 2002 when my Mom and I took a scrapbooking class together. A few years later I decided to give card making a try and it’s been my passion ever since. I’m the world’s slowest scrapbooker so the instant gratification of card making really won me over. Over the years I have used more and more stamping in my designs and I love learning and trying new techniques and styles.

I would probably define myself as a “scrappy stamper”. I *LOVE* patterned paper and most of my cards have lots of it with added layered on embellishments and textures. My cards may not be easy to mail but boy are they pretty!!

Other than crafting, I love to play tennis as you can probably tell from my blog address: http://tennisgirl27.blogspot.com/

I’m thrilled to be the guest designer this month for Your Next Stamp and I look forward to sharing my creations with you.

Check out this super cute card Jen made featuring the adorable stamp Birthday Surprise Fhiona

Please be sure to pop by Jen’s blog and give her warm welcome into the YNS family!

Our fabulous February YNS guest designer…the talented and hilarious Carole Burrage!!! Visit her blog and I guarantee that you’ll smile and laugh!
I know it’s not quite February yet but with CHA and the new release blog hop this Friday I thought I would give Carole the spotlight a little early so everyone could give her a warm YNS welcome!
Here’s a little bit about Carole in her own words…
Hi, YNS lovers!  It’s my pleasure and privilege to be able to Guest Design for Your Next Stamp this month — I adore YNS’s fresh and fun images.  They’re just too adorable to resist!  A little about me… I live in Claremore, Oklahoma, where I’m a stay-at-home-mom to two busy boys (Truman, age 14, and Carter, age 6) and the wife of my college/law school sweetheart, Sean, to whom I’ve been married for 17 years.  I started scrapbooking, on and off, after Truman was born.  In the fall of 2006, I fell into stamping and found my paper passion.  Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to serve on several design teams, including Splitcoaststampers’ Dirty Dozen, and have made wonderful friends from all around the world.  I love stampers and how they ‘get me;’ if you’ve ever tried to explain this hobb-session to a ‘civilian,’ you probably know what I mean!  Huge hugs and thanks to Karen for asking me to join in the YNS fun for February — I’m excited to play with all of you!

Check out this adorable creation she made using Tea Time Fhiona

Thanks for joining us Carole! We all look forward to seeing more of your fabulous YNS creations!

Holiday Cards

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! I’ve been busy with my last minute ‘to do’ list before the big day! Brandon is so excited and keeps asking if Santa has been here yet…it’s so cute! We took him to the mall to see Santa and he asked for a train set so let’s hope that Santa pulls through and leaves a train under the tree. What’s the hot item that your kids or grand kids are asking for this year?

I’ve got a few cards designed by the talented Kimber McGray – thank you for sending these to me Kimber! She has inked up the the fabulous Happy Holidays Collection and created these stunning cards…

Have a wonderful day!
